OFI was founded by Bob Johnson, one of the original buyers from Trader Joe's who was closely mentored by the founder. Bob then moved on to launch the 365 Everyday Value brand for Whole Foods, and the Central Market brand for H.E.B. Supermarkets. He subsequently went on to consult with various retailers and distributors across the country, launching many successful and enduring brands with a team of seasoned food professionals at OFI.
